Directions

Getting to MSU and East Lansing
Located in East Lansing, adjacent to Lansing, the capital of Michigan, Michigan State University is in close proximity to Chicago, Detroit, and Toronto, and the freshwater beaches of Lake Michigan.

Capital City Airport is the commercial airport nearest to East Lansing (about 25 minutes).  It offers daily non-stop service to Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Atlanta, and Minneapolis (all connections to the hubs of Delta, Northwest, and United Airlines).  Car rental agencies available at the Capital City Airport  include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National.

Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) is an international airport serving most major airlines.   This airport is a 90-minute drive away from the Conference Hotel.   A taxi will typically cost US$150.  We recommend the following shuttle service (
http://www.michiganflyer.com/) if you are coming to the conference from Detroit Metro Airport.

There is a free shuttle service from Capital City Airport to the conference hotel (the Kellogg center).  Call the shuttle when you arrive at the baggage claim area (Phone: (517) 432-4000).  You must call them 24 hours in advance to have the shuttle ready for you on arrival, otherwise you may have to wait for 30 minutes or more at the airport.  You can also email your flight and arrival infromation to Jeremy Romel  romelj@msu.edu and he will arrange for your pick-up from the Lansing Airport.

If you are coming from the Detroit airport using the "Michigan Flyer" (http://www.michiganflyer.com/bus service, you must also call the Kellogg at (517)432-4000 or email Jeremy Romel
